Cookies: only the ones we need.

Vetlyn uses a handful of cookies to keep you signed in and remember your clinic. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking across sites.

Key facts

Who we are

Vetlyn, a team based in Pakistan

Data region

EU, Frankfurt (Germany)

The short version

  • We only set essential cookies (to sign you in and remember which clinic you’re working in) and one preference stored in your browser (light or dark theme).
  • We don’t use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, so there’s nothing to opt out of today.
  • If that ever changes, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on later requests. Websites can also keep small pieces of information in your browser’s localStorage, which works similarly but is never sent to the server automatically. This policy covers both.

What we use

All of these are first-party, meaning they are set by Vetlyn’s own domain and not shared with other sites.

may be split into .0, .1 parts
Cookie · essentialKeeps you signed in to the Vetlyn app. Set by our authentication provider, Supabase, when you log in, and refreshed while you use the app. Related short-lived cookies (such as …-code-verifier) may be set during sign-up, email confirmation or password reset.Until you sign out (expires after up to 400 days)
pn_clinicCookie · essentialRemembers which clinic you’re currently working in, if you belong to more than one. It holds an internal clinic ID only, is not readable by page scripts (HttpOnly) and is only sent over secure connections.1 year
pawnote-theme-v2localStorage · preferenceRemembers whether you chose the light or dark theme in the app. Stays in your browser and is never sent to us.Until you change it or clear site data

Essential cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (logging in and using your clinic’s workspace), so they don’t require consent. If you only visit our public website and never sign in, the authentication and clinic cookies are not set.

Third-party requests

Some pages of our marketing website load fonts from Google Fonts and an animation library from jsDelivr. These requests don’t set cookies on our behalf, but, like any web request, they share your IP address and browser details with those providers so the files can be delivered. See the sub-processor list in our privacy policy.

What we don’t use

  • No analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics).
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media pixels or embedded trackers.

How to control them

  • Sign out of Vetlyn to remove your session. The authentication cookies are cleared when you log out.
  • Switch the theme back to dark (the default) in the app to remove the pawnote-theme-v2 preference.
  • Browser settings let you view, delete or block cookies and site data for any website. Help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

If you block essential cookies, you can still read our website, but you won’t be able to sign in to the app.

Changes

If we add any new cookie or storage item, we’ll list it here and update the date at the top. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies such as analytics, we’ll ask for your consent before setting them where the law requires.
