Many pet owners already find their vet through a friend, a Facebook group or a WhatsApp forward, and buy food and medicine wherever it happens to be in stock. Pawzaar gives them one place to do both: book a verified vet for an in-clinic or video consult, and order food, medicine and supplies from clinic and store shelves, paying cash on delivery.

For a clinic, that means new owners who are already looking for a vet in your city, and a second shelf for the products you stock anyway. This guide walks through what to prepare, how the application works, and how to set things up so your first bookings and orders go well.

What Pawzaar is

  • Who can sell: vet clinics, pharmacies and pet shops. You don't need to use Vetlyn's clinic software to apply, but if you do, you can link your clinic to your seller account.
  • Who decides: every seller is reviewed by Vetlyn, and each product category is approved separately.
  • What it costs: commission is 0% on every category and on vet bookings during launch.
  • How money moves: you deliver with your own courier or rider and collect cash on delivery. Vetlyn doesn't hold your money.

Before you apply

The application asks for real business and licence details, so gather them first. It saves a lot of back and forth. Which documents you need depends on what you want to sell:

You want to sellYou'll need
Food, accessories, grooming, supplies or livestock productsBusiness details, the owner's CNIC and bank details
Medicines and vaccinesAll of the above, plus a Drug Sale Licence and a PVMC-registered vet in charge
Vet consultationsPVMC registration for the vets you list

Have clear photos or scans ready of:

  • The owner's CNIC, front and back
  • Proof of address, such as a utility bill from the last three months
  • A cancelled cheque or bank letter for the account you'll be paid into, with the IBAN
  • Your Drug Sale Licence, PVMC certificate and trade licence, where they apply
  • A partnership deed if you're a partnership, and an authority letter if the person applying isn't the owner

Check expiry dates before you upload. An expired CNIC or licence is the most common reason an application gets sent back.

The application, step by step

Start at Pawzaar → Sell. You sign in with a Pawzaar account, and the form saves as you go, so you can stop and finish later. It has seven short steps:

  1. Business: legal name, store name, business type (sole proprietor, partnership or private limited company), address, city, phone, WhatsApp and email.
  2. Owner: the owner's name and CNIC.
  3. Tax: your NTN and, if you're registered for sales tax, your STRN.
  4. Licences: Drug Sale Licence, PVMC details for the vet in charge, and trade licence.
  5. Bank: account title, bank name and IBAN.
  6. Categories: what you want to sell.
  7. Declarations: confirm the details and sign.

Once you submit, the application shows as under review. Review usually takes one to three working days. If something is missing, you'll see a request for changes rather than a rejection, so you can fix it and resubmit. When you're approved, your Seller Center opens.

Listing your vets

Each vet gets a profile showing whether they offer in-clinic consults, video consults or both, with a separate fee for each. Every doctor confirms their own profile from their own login, so nobody is listed without agreeing to it. Vetlyn checks each profile, and can show a PVMC badge once registration is confirmed.

A few things make a profile work:

  • A real photo and a short, specific bio. “Small animals, especially cats; dentistry” helps an owner choose. “Experienced vet” doesn't.
  • Honest booking rules. Set the lead time, how far ahead people can book and the cancellation cut-off to match how your clinic really runs. Online bookings start switched off, so turn them on only when the desk is ready to see them.
  • A plan for video. You can paste your own video link or let Vetlyn create a video room. Decide who joins on the clinic side and test it once before your first booking.

Listing your shelf

If your clinic runs on Vetlyn, you can link a listing to an item in your clinic inventory, so its price and stock come straight from there. That is the simplest way to avoid selling something you no longer have. Otherwise you enter price and stock yourself, or import a CSV for a larger range.

  • Start with the products you reorder every week and never run out of: food, flea and tick products, shampoos, everyday supplies.
  • Use clear names with brand, size and variant, and your own photos where you can.
  • Read the prohibited items list and the seller agreement before listing medicines.
  • Think hard before offering vaccines or other cold-chain items for delivery. If you can't keep them cold all the way to the owner's door, offer pickup only.

Delivery and cash on delivery

In your store setup you choose:

  • Whether you offer delivery, pickup, cash on delivery, or a mix
  • Which cities you deliver to, your delivery fee and any free-delivery threshold
  • A cash-on-delivery limit per order (Rs 25,000 by default) and your usual delivery time

Be conservative at first. Deliver to your own city, promise a delivery time you can beat, and confirm larger cash-on-delivery orders on the phone or WhatsApp before you dispatch. A refused parcel costs you the courier fee both ways. Pickup orders are held for five days, so tell the desk where to find them.

Your first month

  1. Make one person responsible for checking new bookings and orders at set times every day.
  2. Reply to messages the same day, even if it's only to say you'll check stock.
  3. Keep stock honest. Cancelling an order because the shelf was empty is the fastest way to lose an owner's trust.
  4. After two weeks, review what sold, what didn't and which questions owners asked, and adjust your listings.
Treat a Pawzaar order the way you'd treat a phone call from a new client: quickly, clearly and politely.

If you get stuck at any step, the Pawzaar help pages cover the details, or contact us and we'll walk you through it.
